Sandwich Cake


We've turned finger sandwiches into an edible centrepiece! Mix and match your favourite fillings including chicken and watercress or prawn and salad.

The ingredient of Sandwich Cake

  • 16 thick slices of wholemeal bread
  • 500g softened cream cheese
  • 1 2 cup pouring cream
  • 1 lebanese cucumber thinly sliced
  • 100g sliced smoked salmon
  • 1u00a0avocado mashed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • asparagus peeled to serve
  • radish finely sliced to serve
  • cucumber sliced into ribbons to serve
  • snow pea sprouts to serve
  • edible flowers to serve
  • lemon zest to serve

The Instruction of sandwich cake

  • cut crusts from 16 thick slices of wholemeal bread place 4 slices in a square shape cut out a disc using a 17cm plate as a guide repeat to make 4 bread discs u00a0
  • beat softened cream cheese until smooth beat in pouring cream spread cream cheese mixture over bread slices re form into 4 discs smooth out and cover joins u00a0
  • carefully place 1 disc on a plate top with 1 thinly sliced lebanese cucumber stack with another disc top with smoked salmon then another disc spread flesh of 1 avocado mashed with lemon juice over disc top with final disc cover stack with remaining cream cheese mixture u00a0
  • decorate with peeled asparagus radish cucumber snow pea sprouts edible flowers and lemon zest eat on day of making
